If those two people are going to continue to commit sin by interacting and going out together then parting is best. If they aren't going further in sin and look to please Allah through marriage then that is great. But the amount of people who are in love today without interacting with the other person is almost nil. So those two people have to judge their actions and be conscious of Allah!
